wow, i love working on cars

well i took out my charcoal canister, ac and assecories, and the cold start thingy. question one is my charcoal canister has 2 lines going in and one out towards the bottom. i tied the 2 together with a 3 way pipe and led them through my fender wall, behind my splash guard. all it did was make gas fumes not smell like gas fumes right, or what did it do.

also, while i am making my engine bay beautiful, if i decide to unhook my air pump, cut the belt. what are my chances of belt breakage etc. since i dont have the double pulley altenator. if i got some new belts that would hold it for a couple of thousand miles right. and the thing behind it i need a filter for i guess.

The line from the charcoal goes back to the tank, it is a vent system for the fuel tank.

Just remove the pump you already unhooked it. Unless you remove it that was pointless. It pumps air into the ACV to control the flow to the CAT. If you have a 89+ N/A it controls the 6pt system. If you have a 89+ put it back on. If you have a S4 cap the line and get a replacement pipe or silencer for the CAT.

Replace all the belts there like 5$.
