ok i took out my cd player and now all the guages stopped working except the speedo, also the logicons lights come on but when i turn on the heat it doesn't work, the dome light vwon't come onm and the warning lights wont come on either please help.

tach is speedo that why it still works

 

Congrats, you grounded a power wire. There's the meter fuse (I almost want to say top row, middle red fuse), replace it after you found the exposed wiring.

I think he meant to say something like "the speedo is cable driven", so it doesn't need electricity to run it.

ok it was a couple of blown fuses and all that jizzunk!
its all back up and sexy now. just one question when i start the car only a few warning lights come on but in my n/a all come on then go off whats the deal

 

how long do they stay on? Its normal for all the lights to come off than go off at startup.
