MY VENTED HOOD

Well I dont know about the CarbonFiber Hoods But
I seen a Spoon One on my friends honda and it caved in slightly because when he would come home his cat would sleep on it.!! hahaha It wasn't vented and the underhood heat from just a honda will make it melt..
I didn;t think CF melted but it will become soft ..
So even if you do get a non vented carbonfiber hood i say you vet it somehow mabey *** my hood lifts. =)

As for My FC3S GTUs 89 I lifted My hood up in the rear about 1.5 inches..I did this because i seen it done before on another FC but didnt know where to buy them..I believe They Do Sell Them At aerodine website but you wont be able to see what they look like and are they made of stainless steel??Thats what i make mine with..I posted them for sale on another fourm Don't care to mention their name but there were sure alot of girls there!! lol...Aero sells them for 30 bucks also but they dont mention if they are stainless steel or show them at all..

PM ME FOR MORE PICTURES OR E MAIL at SheetMetalWorks2@aol.com

Well here is a picture Of them if you wanna buy them from me ,there $30 bucks plus shipping..Only for the
s4\s5 rx7's..preferably aluminum hoods..If you live In the bay area and can pick them up I will even install them for free..

Since I'm turbo now I have to go with a top mount scoop.

I have to buy a hood too. I am probably goin with the FC3s CF one but I would love to have a CF TII hood with side vents over the turbo like that purple FC so it will alleviate under hood temps.

close thread? that'd be like locking a piece of history. Rarest made a comment about Node approaching 3000, and now look, he's over 6000! wow! history! does he have an RX yet? who knows!

i like n/a hoods on turbo cars with FMs; i think people like the scoop because it looks aggressive. i'd rather rely on my big turbo to be aggressive. and my 91 n/a doesn't have an aluminum hood as someone said "Any Turbo II or 89+ NA is going to have an aluminum hood already. So weight savings is already there somewhat." where is mine, i ask you. where is mine??

Man, I jumped his ****. I must have been PMS'ing...and Node was way more of a Post *****. He actually has a very clean yellow FB currently. He whooped up on a REPU with it.

This post is ancient! *grin*
