Would this be safe? maxing out stock Fuel system on TII?

Well i'm still on my road to building my ideal street car. and i've discovered that all the smoke from my 7 is caused from the Cats. at first i thought my turbos were smoking, since the smoke is traveling up by the firewall. my guess... either clogged cats, or my turbo shaft is off, blowing oil into my cats. either way... i'd like to see if adding a downpipe and midpipe would change all this.
here is my question, if i add both would it i run too lean...
Currently i have Hks intake and Apexi Single N1. BTW this is an 88 Anni. i want a DP and MP/presilencers that would bolt up with the N1 or stock ehaust so if any one can suggest one thanks.
I know that running all this alone would be stupid. So i should have added, that i do plan on chipping my ecu with the rtek 1.5 Hopefully this will be enough so i do run lean. what do u guys think, how much boost will i run with those mods? will i need a boost controller? Fuel Pump? S-AFC?
i understand that all of these would be better to have but right now i just need the car to run "safely". Thanks guys.

Your best upgrade would be to get the Rtek 1.7 and install 720cc secondarys. That would keep you safe. To about 14psi.

But before you go turning up the boost you should really fix any exsisting problems you have. More power will only make things worse. Also Rted has a great write up on upgrading the TII. I suggest you search for it and rear it start to finish.

Also, your motor has a 107k on it stock I'm assuming. Don't go pushing it to the edge. If you can run 14psi on a fresh rebuild. Think about running 11-10psi on your older motor. We don't want another my car keeps flooding / no compression in rear rotor threads popping up in a few weeks. People on this forum always seem to forget the milage there motors have on them and push them till they break.

Should be able to run "safey". My setup is RB 3" turbo back, rtek 1.5, walbro 255, OEM K&N air filter (still stock air box). I boost to 7-8 and creep to 9-10. I should have ported the wastegate bigger. :-( I put down about 210rwhp. And the narrowband O2 gauge reads about 12.5-13.2 A/Funder boost.

Do you have ABS? If you do, check that it's not leaking brake fluid onto your dp

No ABS... And KING, your right, don't worry i have no intentions of blowing my motor. hence why i'm posting on here first. but since i'd rather put a DP on than swapping on another stock cat, i figured i could kill two birds with one stone. I'll look for that write up also.
BTW my goal is only 9 psi. i figured i could achieve that with a turbo back straight exhaust system.
AND no one has answered my question. what brand DP and Midpipe fit stock. I read that the RB presilencer won't hook up to stock exhaust. thanks guys.

Stock FC turbo fuel pump good for 240hp at the wheels safely, if it's getting full voltage.

Regarding exhausts:

Pretty much everything 2.5" sold FOR an FC will bolt right up. There are 3" stuff sold for FC's as well, but since stock piping is 2.5"(?), they will therefore not "bolt right up".

Also, if you drive your car on a regular basis, then something is leaking into your cat. There is no other explanation for smoke coming out of your exhaust past the downpipe... as cats just don't produce smoke by themselves. What color smoke is it, and does it smell like burning oil or burning coolant, or just burning fuel?

the cats themselves are leaking... burning oil is coming from the flanges and some where from the main cat. i can't see since the cat's heatsheild covers the origin of the leak. my best guess would be that the turbo shaft is off and oil is leaking, blowing in to the cat, which is then burning it... the smoke is escaping through the leaky flanges and a crack somewhere in the cat.
