Would an N327 ECU work with a N332 Eprom??
Hello all,
I would like to know if the 86-88 NA ECUs have exactly the same options (same schematics/functionality) as the Turbo ones? My question is, would swaping, or getting blank eproms and copying them, and installing them on the NA ECU to turn them into turbos?
I have a bunch of N327 NA ECUs lying around and a few clients with NA-Turbo conversions that dont have a turbo ECU, and i wanted to confirm if this is possible so i can help them out.
I know the pressure sensor and AFM arent the same either, but id like to take a whack at this, if anybody has any feedback on the matter, please let me know.
Thanks,

When you say they are wired different, are you reffering to the pin locations being different, or the schematics of the boards? Cause if that is the case, then it wouldn't work.
Anybody else want to offer some more insight?

Yes wired different means the pins have a different connection layout, and the boards are completely different.
The only one that is cross compatible is the 88 model year N338 (found in the 88 vert) as it uses custom chips and the layout of inputs and outputs on several of the inputs/outputs are dual gate.
But a Turbo chip does not work in it, because of the dual gate set up.

Ah, i see, thanks for your help. I had hoped it could be done, but today i realized that there are infact a lot of different components to control on both the NA and the turbo, like the variable intake runners, and such. Thanks agian.
