is it worth it?
Been talking to some guy about engines 'cause I really need one.
"the price in the ad is for the rebuilt block (2rotors 2housings 3 irons, front cover, e-shaft.)
The block itself is a hybrid using FD (93-95) housings, rotors and gears, while using S4 irons. This set up gives the engine better longevity,
more power, and the ability to interchange with any TII confiuration regardless of chassis/part years. If you would like ECU, Harness, mannifolds, 650cc injectors, sensors, throttle cable (ie: complete NA>TII engine conversion) are available with the motor. I have all the stock S4 stuff (turbo, mannifolds, wiring, ecu, blah blah.) For S5 TII chipped ECU (BLITZ access Japan) Larger plug 'n play MAF from a 626 V6, few other goodies (can't remember). Stock TII Down pipe for both, S5 swap missing alternator and turbo, both swaps missing air pump.
So the quick version:
Just the block: $1500 rebuilt (porting may be available)
"Long block" hybrid S4 complete (minus some hoses/gaskets): $2200
"Long block" hybrid S5 (missing turbo and alternator, but includes gauge cluster) $2300
I cannegotiate with you depending on what you may or may not want/need, prices include all non consumable parts and sensors required as well as the throttle cable for TII into non TII. Let me know if you are interested or had a different price or package in mind."
thinking of the S4.. what do YOU think?
