Worry about rain.
Worry about rain.
I have all the seals on my hood and yet when it rains...I have rain the the right section of my engine bay...near in the intake. It rained so hard that the turbo compressor has water in it.
and I had to vacuum out the water.
IS it normal to see water in the engine day after it rains?

yes its normal but water in ur turbo? How much we talking about?
I personally have no seals, and a sexy style hood so water is pretty much everywhere in my engine bay (sept the alternator and coils.) the only time ive ever run into a hydrolock situation was when i drove thru a 7 in high flooded street, and even then it was ok. If its not flooding ur turbo compressor, and just a little bit you will be fine. If your having trouble starting ur car after it rains, just hold the throttle open and clean it out.
