car would not start at all would just wind out no crank over ,mec. did the cold start steps,now car turns over but dies right off,i love my car to much invested to get rid of,need help,does anyone have any ideas about whats going on?

 

still waiting to hear from someone ,my problem was at first that the car would not start , it would just crank and crank but would not turn over,i was told about 5 steps to follow regarding cold starts,the last time i drove it was at night to move into the garage,the next day the prob.,now after following the 5 steps it turns over but will not stay running did i miss something ,has anyone experinced such a problem,i love my mazda would hate to lose it , people allways want to buy it ,eventhough its not running ,lots of extras,so please help out , i miss driving late at night on back roads full throttle(the honda just doesnt do it for me)help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about the A B C's of auto repair, does it have spark, fuel and compression? And you can be sure of one thing, most board members will not search out your previous post to see what you wrote if you wont take the time to search yourself. My guess is the NO Start question has been asked oh about 10,000 times. I am figuring that the answers will do it for you as well.

And your descriptions of the problem is poor. Thousands of owners have had issues with not starting, have you even started to search?

Are the plugs wet? is the car flooding? how are you starting (using throttle or not?), are all the lights and gauges coming on when the key is in the on position?

The car cranks over, but does not start? or cranks over, starts, but then dies? If it is dieing after starting, then you probably have a big vac leak.

Please be as clear as possible with both the title and thread contents if you would like a response.
