Won't start help!?!?!

so basically i have spark and i can smell fuel, when i left the car last night it turned over and fired granted it didnt stay running but it did fire over and start. today i go to start it and it doesnt start but it wants to , so im thinking maybe i need fuel(gas guage doesnt work) so i put some gas in it and then i get nothing , it cranks but wont even kick. someone told me to put some oil in the plug holes or tb just a litte bit and see if that helps. any ideas please let me know , thank you

It sounds flooded. Check the Faq on how to de-flood it if it is an 86-88 if it is 89-91 hold down the accel. pedal until it starts. S5s have a built in flood clear that S4s don't.

yeah i thought it was too but i pulled the plugs and there was no fuel on them . like if it were flooded it would be loaded, plus i have my fuel pump hooked up to a manual switch. so i know its not flooding out
