wont start
hi, i did the carb cleaner trick hoping that it would idle smoother. It was starting yesterday but i went today to change a vacuum hose under the uim and it wouldnt start anymore. i found the engine fuse blown and replaced it but it still wont start. any ideas.

You checked the fuse named ENGINE in the interior? Or some other fuse?
Check the ones in the engine bay also. Especially the two most inboard.
If you jumper your fuel pump check connector and turn the key to ON you KNOW the interior ENGINE fuse is indeed good. That's if you hear the pump running.

yes i checked all of the other fuses and they are all good, i dont know what else to do. could the spark plugs be messed up because of the carb cleaner?

I don't think the carb cleaner did in the plugs. If you suspect plugs, buy ONLY the LEAD plugs. Don't throw money away on trails.
I take this to mean the fuel pump runs whtn the key is to ON and the jumper is in. If that's so then you should have spark also. Hold a plug wire in your hand and have someone turn the engine over if you SURE you don't have spark. I mean, you can't get shocked, can you? And if you do get shocked, then you know you probably have spark. One hand on the wire, the other touching the engine.

ok i took out the trailing spark plug from the front, left it overnight cause it got to dark to put it back it. went out there this morning and put it back in and tried starting it, it started for about a second and went out, i tried starting it agian and it started for 1 sec again and went out again, after that it wont start anymore, what does this mean
