I have an 88 non turbo, the engine turns but doesn't start. It appears I have fuel and spark to the trailing spark plugs but no spark to the leading plugs.

Both leading and trailing coils/igniters were changed with no difference to problem.

Could it be the ecu?
Help!

 

Your car will still run on just the trailing coil, well at least mine does. Is the car flooding?

 

did it run before or did you just buy this car?
