undefined help needed i just bought an 87 w/13b but for some reason it wont run and keeps dumping fuel in the exhaust....anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

 

stuck open or REALLY dirty injectors

remove them, and get them cleaned and/or rebuilt

also, do not forget when this is done to pour a little bit of oil in each housing to rebuild the compression, turn the engine 2-3 times by hand and dry the plugs before trying to start it

you might to check the engine's compression as well, to be sure of the engine's internals condition

if it was seriously flooded, I would highly recommend to change the oil since the fuel may has contaminated your oil.

if it's a spark problem, check if your high tension leads receive power. if yes, change plugs, if no, mostly it's gonna be a bad ground, faulty coils, or defective CAS

if its air problem, most of the time it is a defective AFM

that would be a good beginning.

 

as far as i was told the car sat all winter and never ran after that ...i bought it not running for 900.
