won't rev past 4500 (yes i searched)
My 88 N/A is having issues, it starts and idles fine but at WOT it won't rev past 4500 rpm. i've checked compression, got 110-110-110 psi on the front rotor and 100-100-100 psi on the back rotor. I've got good spark on all 4 plugs and they don't look like the car has flooded any.
i'm going to change out my fuel filter, but does anybody have any other ideas of what might be causing this?

hrmm i do have a stock exhaust system. i didn't even think about that. the car has 214k miles on it. so that would make sense for the cat being clogged

Part of mine was Ignition related. Now when you get into the higher rpms over(5500) under load, let off and try to get back into the throttle it does not want to accelerate. If it does it does very slowly.

Ok i've replaced my fuel filter, converted my aux ports to s5 style and replaced my cat with a straight pipe. No change in behavior. any other ideas?

ok my secondary injectors are within spec 12.6 ohm on the rear 13.0 on the front. i had continuity from the connector to ground. when the car was idling i had around .100 VAC and at 3500 rpm i had around .450 VAC. both of the connectors looked intact, if a bit dirty so i cleaned them with some isopropyl alcohol and let them dry. the behavior still remains the same. i guess now is the time to check the MAF.

Ok i've check my MAF and it's WAY out of spec. E2 to Vs is an open circuit
E2 to Vref is over 1.2kOhm, so i hope that's the problem. i've found one locally in a junkyard so i'm gonna go grab it tommorow to find out.
