Hey all,

Here's my new problem, I'm on my way to work today, I'm in 5th at 60mph, I decided to downshift 4th and punch it , redline shift to 5th , and to my surprise won't go over 4k rpm I press hard the gas pedal and nothing , what could it be, bad tunning, bad 5th gear (bought tranny rebuild), bad idle adjustment, of f@#@ed up enigine (although I donth think engine could have low compression, I can redline frem 1st to 4rth gear, and this never happen with my old tranny).

i test drove a car that wouldnt rve past 4 the guy tryed to bullshit me and say thats the rev limeter haha

I think a broked vaccum line would be very noticeble, power loss, running rough at any rpm, my car doesn't have any vaccum leaks, like I said I can redline at any gear but in 5th it just won't go above 4k , could be that rev limiter you said, but I didn't have this problem before, anyway thanks for trying.

 

sounds like your secondaries just took a **** max. btw i'm on MSN if you wanna hit me up on this. Time to pay for those upgrades early eh max

LOL, I cant get in MSN man i'm at work, my secondaries could be but why only in 5th?
maybe I should lean it back to 0 in Lo thrt, I have +2% from 3600 and above.

 

LOL don't fatten it up. You aren't modded enough for that to be an issue man. in 5th isn't 4k like 100mph??? Its like 110 in my GTU. Its pretty hard to go higher than that speed unless you are on a straight.
