Wondering about FD alt on an FC
Will the FD stock alternator fit in ours cars? I've heard of people doing it to pump out more juice but wasn't quite sure.

It can be done. You've got to find another pulley for sure and you may need to modify the adj. bracket. The wiring's just little things I think, like new ring connectors and such.

Its so easy, its almost criminal.. Ive done it, and alot of others have too. There is a writeup in the archives. No new brackets, just an FD alternator, some connectors, and a pulley/spacer that fit.

J-Rat, if you could show some pics of the connector you made, that'd be great. I'm having some issues understanding what you did to make the connector work.
