Looks too small for a cruise or steering computer IMHO. What are the wire colors of each wire? Black with a white stripe as an example. Series of the car also.

It seems looks bright white "aftermarket" to me. Is it possible for former alarms system, or stereo or some other electronic mod?

My bad. I was staring at the three socket plug and didn't even recognize the larger bright white plug. Could be cruise or whatever they suggested.

the wires look factory so i don't think it was anything aftermarket if i can get a picture of a car with the cruise system i will try to compare them.

A cruise control unit plug has 18 sockets.

Wire colors on the top row are: G/W, L/B, L/O, G, G/R (or empty), B/Y, G, G/W so whoever pm'd you was probably right.

There is a pwr steering control unit plug in that area. Above the steering shaft I think.
