wiring question

I have a wiring question some may know but I know Hailers will more than likely know it it is dealing with the S4 turbo harness.
The question is on my hacked up harness I have a integrated plug from a black / white wire and a green wire. Its in the same bundle with the knock sensor wire. I've searched the FSM for the S4 and I still can't find it. So if anyone knows that would help me a whole lot. I'm in the mist of making a new harness for my Microtech LTX8 because the person I bought my setup from had the stock harness tied into the Microtech harness. If a picture is needed I will post it later when I get a chance. Thanks guys for the help in advance...

Is the hacked harness a combination of NA and turbo or just turbo? So, you have an integrated plug w/two wires being B/W and Green. What is an integrated plug? Is it a plug w/two wires where the wires leading to the plug are Green and B/W but are spliced into two wires of differing colors or something completely else?

i'm not sure i understand the question.

you're wiring up a microtech and want to use part of the stock harness? you can use the black/white wire as a 12v switched wire for the ECU but i wouldn't use it to power the ECU and everything it controls.

read the microtech diagram and follow it, it is basic to understand. if the wiring is hacked, order a new flying lead kit from microtech or make your own, ditch the junked wiring if it has been spliced already.

Exactly Satch it is a S4 TII Harness that the previous owner had integrated a Microtech LTX8 harness into. The plug looks like it can be used for a Water temp sensor but I'm not sure the original owner/builder never sent me the whole build info and pics that he promised me. I've searched the S4 88 wiring FSM off foxed.com, I have it on both my phone and my all of my computers. I searched my old NA harness and the wire combo is not on there, due to the S4 NA didn't have a knock sensor. I'm in the middle of wiring a whole new harness because I get the wires from work for free. The TPS and Coil wires are on there own loom so I don't have to do those cause they are perfect. Its just the Engine harness that I'm going through right now.

I'm not new to wiring, I've work at dealerships so I have done a good share of chasing wiring diagrams. I've done the whole auto sound system thing years ago and now from time to time. The job I have now as a Electromechanical Technician, so I have to do wiring from time to time when I help build the amps and wire the shakers. Following diagrams ain't at all hard but I just cant find the wires like I would on the S5 FSM. The S4 FSM as we all should know just shows the general area of whats where and not what is in the branched off looms of what goes where and the colors of the wires in the looms.

Ben The harness already works but its a big rats nest. I think it was to make Johnny Laws think the car was stock or they didnt understand about running the hot to all injectors and to the battery. This was my daily but to many problems, couldnt pass smog with it in my Vert so I bought a daily. I wanted to get it tuned but Steve Singh didnt want to touch it until I got a new harness. Soon I'm going to rebuild my S5 JDM Block that blew because of voltage dropped at about 6500 and blew a apex seal in the front rotor housing. In a few months both my stock 6 port and the S5 blocks will get rebuilt and thrown back into my vert for daily and swapped out for smog. Then this built engine and this will go into a shell that will go for the track and canyon use from time to time. I'll post pictures of the harness tomorrow if I have time, I have to run to L.A. and get parts just bout all day.
Thanks guys for the help!!!

i would start from scratch with the harness. if it doesn't have some gold wire loom on it and you wrap it tastefully it should look like a brand new factory harness with some of the tips i have posted about making harnesses without going overboard on them.

and not trying to talk bad about Steve but he shouldn't be tuning cars until he has enough general knowledge to tune them. i've seen his maps, and he still has a bit to learn. if you don't want to drive too far go to Nelson at RRR in upland.

I'm in Corona moving to Victorville in a couple of weeks hopefully lol! Niether of them are to far from me at the moment. A friend of mine was telling me about a shop out in Victorville that I might look into for a tune not sure yet. I'm hoping to make it to WHiV if Ray and SCR has it again next year which I think they will. I want them to see RoXy's progress she might be painted by then, the last time they seen her I had just blew coolant seals driving into Vegas to a party he was having at his house!!! 2009 or 2010 cant remember lol

just be weary of all tuners, check their reputations first otherwise you might be paying for them to learn through blown engines at your cost. rotary experience is also almost a definite must, since most knock won't even register until it spikes with very minor changes.
