Wiring Harness for TPS

Hi,

after my rebuild i put the engine wiring harness back on but now i can not find the connector for the TPS. :-/

Can anyone give me some hints on which wiring harness the connector should be or what other connectors are near to it? The intake manifold and all other stuff is already mounted so it is quite difficult to search for it.

Thank you!
Daniel

It's part of the Emission Harness.

It's a white "triangular" looking connector( 3 spade) on an S4 harness.
On an s5 it is a 6 pin oval-ish looking thing.
It should sit right around mid engine on the harness.

(Tip:try and state your car the next time and you would get a faster answer.)

I have seen turbo TPS sensors with a white 6 pin plug and NA S5 TPS sensors with a black plug, so keep that in mind.

Reference the FSM to determine the wire colors, and keep in mind that they may be faded a bit rather rely on the shape and color of the plug.

Honestly I would think it would be easy just to look at the TPS itself and then find the other connector on the harness
The S5 harness is fairly straight forward with specific connectors.
I assume that the S5 N/A and TII would/may be slightly different color as they are specific TPS (according to Mazdatrix) but the S4 can use either an N/A or TII application as the TPS is the same animal.

Ok, thank you all. I will look for it this weekend.

For your information: It's a S5 N/A engine. And one of the plugs of the MOP matches the plug of the TPS, too.

S5 NA and TII TPS are the same, it's the brackets that are different. I have personally taken the plungers off a turbo TPS and swapped them over to an NA bracket very easily.

I just brought up the whole color and wire color thing because I didn't want him to say "oh that plug is white, that can't be it" when it is.

Not arguing at all about the brackets.I've heard of changing plunger assemblies, and the wire colors go different too,so I'm just pointing to the mating of connectors.

here is a page of TPS's from Mazdatrix:
Fuel Injection Parts

Colorwise, again,it could come in Pink..lol..but still there would be a mating connector on the engine's harness somewhere near the TB.

I know that on the S4 there is a connector near the Bac(that stupid thing on the side of the lower manifold) and it confused me when I first did a rewire. But I followed the harness up towards the TB and found the right connector for the TPS.

Pointing out that the S5 OMP is also similar to the TPS is something I did not know,so I learned something today(I am not an S5 guy..so I'll save that info in my memory bank!)
