Wiring Harness swap

For the left side (drivers side) of the wiring harness... would a harness GTU-S from 1990 be able to replace a '88 n/a GTU? Same basic features. Basically the insulated wire running from my ecu to the crank angle sensor got drilled though, which hit a few other wires too. Somehow I need to resolve the problem and I was hoping to replace the whole harness.

Suggestions?

i dont think so the plugs that go into the ecu are different on the s4, s5 models. I would stick with s4 stuff if thats what you have. Makes it alot more plug and play.

an 88 GXL harness would be compatible with a 88 GTU (and the same harness actually).
