Wiring harness installation?
I'm looking at a Turbo II on ebay that I think might be a good deal. There are a few things that seem a bit odd on it. He says that the car is complete except that it need the wiring harness all plugged in, but he has it, and the exhaust needs to be bolted on and that the AFM needs to be plugged in. He's selling it because he doesn't have time to finish it. The body needs paint badly, but he says it is in great condition and the pics look pretty good. Claims there is a J-spec engine in there with 35k miles.
Is it easy to wire the wiring harness up and AFM and the exhaust? I've never done any serious work on a car, but I want to learn. Is this do-able by me for a summer project?
He wants $1800 for it, so if I can get it to run, and the body and interior are good then I could put some paint on this and have a pretty good car.
To buy or not to buy?

j-spec with 35k miles and harness not pluged in.... sounds like he just installed the "35k" engine and couldn't figure out how to wire it... maybe it's a different year engine. probably a hack job he's trying to dump now....

Sounds fishy if all that has to be done is to "plug in the harness". It's a hour job.
Fundamentally, it's easy. The most complicated part is removing the upper intake to get at the injectors.
