Wiring fuel pump....
Ok I looked in the FSM but I couldn't find any diagrams for how the fuel pump wires up to its bracket/pedestal. Obviously it has a + and - side which are labeled but the color wire on the pump and on the bracket are not the same. :-/

It should be pretty obvious that the stud that is not grounded to the frame of the fuel pump is your positive. So in this case the Tan clored wire stud is your + the Black colored little stub is your -.
-Robert
Edit: Also looking at the picture I can clearly see a - symbol stamped in right under the black lead stub on the fuel pump.

Were you sleeping when you took it apart? Where was it hooked up? I would guess the green is a ground, but it's not a good idea to guess when dealing with fuel.
It's been ages since I installed my fuel pump, I can look back at pictures if no one else can confirm.

also, from the outside, the sensor leads are much thiner than the ground and postotive leads for the pump.
Take a picture of the outside of the FP housing .. where the wires come in, and it would be alot easier to confirm.
Disclaimer: test it outside of the tank breifly first But keep it way away from the vapors incase it's wrong and it arcs, or sparks.

That being siad, as long as the outside line up to the inside you are fine. I *think* the green is ground, and the other 2 leads are posotive, 1 for the fuel level indicator, the other for the pump itself.

PS-Scott I know the pump is labeled. But it wasn't wired up so i need to know which post on the pump to connect the wire that comes out of the pump pedestal.

Hmm, can't really tell **** fromt that either I guess they change colors after the cap somewhere. Best bet is to trace them back S4 & S5's are both .. Large Blue= Positive, Black=Ground, little Red/white & little red/green=level sensor.

If I'm not mistaken... that Green wire should be your + lead while the pump should be grounded to the braket itself. There should be a threaded hole somewhere on the bracket for the ground wire.
I rewired my pump ages ago. I hope someone else can confirm this. Is yours an S4 or S5? It looks like an S4 Pump braket to me.
I checked the S4 wiring diagram and all the colors are different. Maybe I'm reading the wiring diagram wrong.

the red and blue are probably the fuel level thing. you just just follow from one side to the other can't you?
the black and black / white are the fuel pump. but I can't remember which is pos right now. I think white strip is. and just follow it though to the other side.
I would just plug it back into the harness. jumper the pump plug in the front. and check which has 12v.
