Wiring diagrams for the S5 (1991), not online?
I am only looking to find an online copy of the wiring diagrams for the 89-91 cars. The 86-88 online FSM's have this section.
The S5 FSM's that I have found online do not include this section of the manual. I already have the papercopy, but find the PDF version handy when I am at work.
Does anybody know where one is? It is section "Z"
Thanks!

Details, details
Well, it's just that there are details in the wiring section that are not found anywhere else, such as wire colors and the connectors that they go through.
I have a problem where the passenger window will go down but not up?
I have tested the motor and the switch and both are fine. I am the point where I am trying to determine what is different about the circuit that is in play during the UP operation versus the DOWN operation.
I do know that the drivers side switch is involved, not only for power to but to provide a ground path.
Any ideas?

asherwood, I know what you are talking about, it's the special section for the S5's.
To my recollection it MAY be under the body section. But short of buying the FSM I had to take the ECU schematic and test the ECU connectors and the individual wiring harness connectors until I had it mapped out........... you might have to do the same.

Now I have a job to do...

But it is a good test procedure and gives an easy to read layout of the window circuit.

Scott 89t2: there isn't one on the net

BTW, it seems that the problem was a dirty connection, after going to the driver's side and R&R'ing the main switch the window is back in action again.

Oh yeah, a bit of an update:
When I said:

When I backed it in to the garage last night, I decided to try one more time...up she went!
Something flakey there, I really need to figure this out, not opening the window on a summer day is just not an option!
My wife's driver window is intermittent - drives me nuts..
It's an electronic auto down $witch for her Cadillac.
Maybe try some spray contact cleaner.
It's not a permanent fix but it may isolate what's wrong.
