Question wiring after my 5 speed swap

ok i FINNALY got my 5 speed installed after all this time but now it wont start. sucks yes. but i used the wright up in the archives and i couldnt find a few things. like the computer for the auto tranny and the red wires it speeks of on the manual trans. i found 1 red wire w/ a strip on it and a black whire w/ red dashes but no red wires. i also found the only 3 pronnged clip i would find that came of teh auto trans but ti only had 2 wires so i spliced then together like it says. and i cant find the connection the goes onto the prog on top of the starter i figgured it was a ground so i ran a ground but im not sure if that is waht it is or not. so i need to know about that prong on top of teh starter and the wires i have to rig up. this is all i need to do for my swap to be DONE!!
