Wires under ignition swit

When I was installing my alarm, I noticed these two wires hanging down that should be sodered somewhere, but for the life of me I cant seem to find out where. I am pretty sure they are for the factory security system, key reminder or whatever, this is the white plug they come from in the second picture. It is an 89 rx7 turbo II. If anyone can help or has a picture of their ignition switch wires that would be awesome.

Just what is that four wire white plug going to? Take a picture of where that white plug is going.

Ok, the black wire and the red w/black wire coming out of the white plug go directly into the ignition switch as pointed out in the pictures, the connections look factory to me. I followed the wires going out of the white plug and they run along with the main igntion wires and go directly into a factory electrical tape wrapped harness going up into the dash beyond my reach.

As I look at all of the connections on the ignition switch they are all covered in soder on the tops of them except the black and red w/ black as previously mentioned, I wonder if the red w/ yellow and the green wires were sodered on top of the two connections arrowed out in my pics, what do you think?

As far as I can tell that plug is making me think its factory.

Here's what the wiring on a stock ignition switch looks like on my '88.

The Red/Yellow and Green wires go to a small switch that sits on the back of the lock cylinder. It has 2 security screws in it, so I'd assume the switch is pressed when the key is turned in the cylinder. Does your alarm work with the switch like that?

The Red/Black and Black wires run into a white plug w/ the Red/Yellow and Green wires, which plugs into a matching plug under the dash. It looks like it runs toward the CPU, but the wiring diagrams can confirm it. The white plug you have is a different shape, but maybe it's just a change they made on S5s or it's an aftermarket ignition switch.

Hmm, maybe it is just the angle then or the pictures... sure looks like an aftermarket system from your pictures. Do you see the plug in RotaryRocket88's picture... see the difference???

The only other small gauge wires are for the key sense switch. Does to CPU beep when the door is open and the key is put in the ignition switch but not turned on?? If it doesn't then it could be the key sense wires.

Thanks Rotary Rocket, it was that switch on the back of the ignition switch. I wouldnt of known what it was without having to specifically look for it. Thanks again.
