Question Wires leading to the Power Steering Pump

Hey guys...I have two 88's, a SE with Automatic and GTU
w/ 5 spd. Had them a long time and was just wondering what are all the wires for that are connected to the Power Steering Assembly? Of all the cars I have ever known, have never had any with electrical wires to to the PS pump....also, there seems to be a slotted "adjustment" bolt/insert or whatever also....does this control the steering feel? also...what is an S4 or S5 and N/A ? Had em a long time and theres still a lot I dont know. Thanks !

As far as i know the wires are part of the "speed controled" steering, as in the pump recievies a signal from the ecu, that's the extent of that i understand

FC's use either speed sensor steering or RPM sensor steering depending on year / model. it gets speed or RPM readings and changes the amount the power steering helps. at highway speeds it is shut off because it is not needed. and while stoped it's at full. there is a power steering computer under the dash.
