Wireing harness problems

My Harness is on there correctly to the best of my knowledge and the damn thing still has loose conections.
It's really starting to **** me off, and the FSM is'nt helping.
The car is a S5 tII.
Is there anyone that can help me find a good pic of an engine without the intake phlenum, or a more detailed description on installation?

By the way, the sensors on the passenger side of the lower intake are a bit confusing to find out what they plug into also.

As long as the thermo sensor & fuel injector plugs are on right, it should run while you sort out the ACV plugs.
I seem to recall the harness has an orphan plug near the AWS.

There's a fairly good depiction in the FSM of how the Emission harness routes in a Series four.

Actually things are not that difficult if you look at the wiring diagrams and checkout the wire colors for each plug. LIke the injector plugs ........the wiring diagrams show what color is for which injector.

And the solenoids on the left side of the engine........again the wiring diagrams show what the color of the wires for each solenoid is plus the color of the plug should match the *dot* pasted on each solenoid.

The water thermo sensor.........same deal.
