wired open 2-cycle fed OMP and other question

I searched and found a thread that deals with wiring open an OMP fed by engine oil, but I was wondering about having the OMP wired open on one that is fed from a 2-cycle oil tank. I don't want to go strictly premix, but if it would be better to use a small amount premix and wire it halfway open I would not be opposed to that. I am going to be using a modified upper intake manifold and custom throttle body and it would be a pain in the *** to fab up a new control rod. I don't know if the engine details make any difference to this, but here they are. I have a street ported engine, S4 internals, S5 housings, S4 front cover (hence the manual OMP), 3mm seals and it has been dowell pinned.

As a side note I have the other stuff for this engine to bolt it up, minus the turbo and EMS, How probable do you think it is that I will be able to squeese out 450whp from this engine (or grenade the transmission). This engine will now be going into My 91NA since a limb about 8inches around came out of the tree above my 87TII and crunched the front window and A-pillar (I'll try and Find the photos of my cruched baby for your viewing enjoyment) Sorry about the rambling I just had a couple of questions and I didn't want to make a bunch of posts.

Wiring the OMP fully open would be stupid. All you'd be doing is wasting a whole bunch of oil and probably making a lot of smoke at low load. Wiring it halfway open would be even stupider, as there'd be insufficient oil flow at high load. Why would you even think this is a good idea?

Either premix or fabricate a control rod. Don't half-*** it.
