Wire On Transmission

Question Wire On Transmission

there is a wire on the top of the transmission, when we pulled off the transmission to replace the clutch and flywheel. the wire come off before we could tell were it came from. we cant seem to find the metal clip thing it connects to. can anyone help with this?

there is a connector at the tail stock,and I forget where the other one is..One Connector is for 5th gear/Reverse.and the other is for Safety neutral.

IT is a ground wire. Just hook it back up to the tranny. It should be connected to one of the bolts.

the wire im talking about is on the very top of the transmission near the edge that connects to the engine.....its a black wire with a white female end its a single wire all by itself and cant find the area to plug it into. It looks like a ground wire but not sure were it goes. the wire in quesion is not near the wires that are located nearest to the shifter.

Yeah the connection is on the firewall above the exhaust. All you really need to do is bolt it to the frame.

ok i found the tab i needed to find but only by mistake i sneezed and my head turned to it lol.......but now they is another problem the wires on the transmission for the sensor broke where can i find a replacment part?

its not a sensor, its just a ground wire... unless you are speaking of something new

yeah i found the ground wire location after i sneezed found that by mistake....the new problem is the reverse switch located on the drivers side of the tranny near the shift.. the wires from that broke and i called mazda trix and its a special order part
