Wipers dont work

My wipers were working fine until some manually moved the blades across the windshield. Now they dont turn but i do hear a noise as if the wiper motor is working. Searched and couldnt find anything

Probably a loose nut at the motor, and the rod is slipping, or loose wiper arms.

found the motor. theres two parts a black cylinder and another squarish peice. I opened the squarish piece to find a cricle which revolves when the wipers are on that is working. Howver the bolts on the wipers arent moving. I cant get much light so ill try again tommorow but any ideas?

i had this happen once and it was the plastic bushings that went around the ball on the driving piece of metal that moves the wipers....it was basically where they attached..maybe you can check if the actual peice coming off of the wiper motor is moving and there may be the problem of the broken plastic bushings? hope you get it fixed..cuz it sucks to not have wipers..

good luck
