wiper switch stoped working

hi, my freinds wiper switch just stoped working, he has a 86 with no rear wiper or sun roof, him and I were wondering if there is somthing we could do to fix it.

common probelm for rx7s mine doesnt work except on like the second setting. Do a search alot of people have this problem or just buy a used one they are pretty cheap off ebay.

You can either buy a used one or go to any 2nd gen rx7 site with the FAQ and it will have the fix on there its a resistor that goes bad and all you do is swap it out but you gotta have some soldering skills good luck.

You'll need to send it to him prepaid (I think $60) to Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. If you choose to do this, DON'T try and repair it yourself first.

No it is a relay that goes out not a resistor.

The most common problem with the switch is that it looses all settings except the low speed.

sorry i get them mixed up it IS a relay either way you can replace it for cheap
