wiper switch stoped working
hi, my freinds wiper switch just stoped working, he has a 86 with no rear wiper or sun roof, him and I were wondering if there is somthing we could do to fix it.
Thanks
Thanks
You can either buy a used one or go to any 2nd gen rx7 site with the FAQ and it will have the fix on there its a resistor that goes bad and all you do is swap it out but you gotta have some soldering skills good luck.
If you don't want try and repair yourself, "e" mail Joe Romeo-joe@fc3s.org
You'll need to send it to him prepaid (I think $60) to Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. If you choose to do this, DON'T try and repair it yourself first.

The most common problem with the switch is that it looses all settings except the low speed.
Replaceing the relay will solve that. See ted's site for a great write up. http://fc3s-pro.com/TECH/HOWTO/WIPER/wiper.html
