How much does the stock wing really help?

The GTU wing adds drag and is rumored to have some down force.

The only functional wing is the Sport which helped lower the drag coefficcient to .29 from .31(any other FC with/without the large wing)

This is the "GTU" style spoiler. The Sport spoiler is a small flat rubberised piece.

you are referring to the spoiler on the s4 models when you say the rubber one, right?

Series four models had two common spoilers. The one that came on Sport models which is small(smaller than your pic) and sits flat. The other was a "GTU" type spoiler that comes on GTU's and TII's(which is basically what is in your pic). Series five only had the "GTU" spoiler on all the cars. The S5 wing was a little different from the S4 GTU wing but its generally the same thing.

There was also the Finishline wing and a couple of other similar looking afteramrkets. I have never seen any proof of functionality for those though. Most wings are for looks......

I wonder what kind of speeds you would have to be going for it to produce a good amount of downforce. If an F1 car could get upside down going 180mph it could drive upside down becuse of all the downforce, that is amazing.

seriously? That flat piece of rubber was actually more functional than the other wings? I need to know. I have that one and a gxl wing and have been tryna decide which to put on, for a year. But if the sport is more functional the debate ends.

it depends what you mean by functional. the flat piece of rubber only reduces drag, and doesn't add any downforce, where as the other one probably adds a little bit of downforce(I'm sure we could find info on this somewhere), but adds drag in the process. so it depends if you want lower drag or downforce as to which is more functional... you have to choose.
and if you really want downforce, you'd be better off going with some sort of good aftermarket wing anyway.

I only recall seeing "numbers" for the Sport wing. I don't know about any figures on the GTU wing. If you're doing a lot of 80+ mph turns you probably need a real working spoiler with a serious angel of attack and not ANY stock spoiler. The Sport wing will help reduce drag at high speeds which helps the little n/a's get up to high speeds.
