I bought my car and the windshield wipers didnt work. The seller gave me a new wiper motor and i installed it today. every thing is hooked up and plugged in as far as i can tell, yet they still dont work. Does anybody have any hints or tips?

Maybe the switch...Did the seller tell you he troubleshot it down to the motor, or was he just "throwing parts" at the problem?
Mark can rebuild the switch for you, or may have some in stock...

If you determine that it's not the switch (ie the most likely cause) and you can hear the motor running but the wipers don't move. That's a problem with the plastic hinges that drive the wiper arms underneath the grate at the bottom of the windshield. The plastic swivels break loose from the drive arms and the motor turns but they don't move the wipers.

Wiper fuse good???? If it's good, remove the plug fromt the wiper. See if you have 12v on the BLUE wire. Good??????? Then remove the plug from the wiper switch. Got 12v on it's BLUE wire??????? Good????? Got a good ground on the wiper motors BLACK wire and the wiper switches BLACK wire????? Good?????
If that's all good......get a piece of wire and ground one end of that wire. Stick the other end of the wire in the back of the wiper motors electrical plug while that plug is connected to the motor. Stick it in the plug where the BLUE/WHITE wire is. The motor should run. If the motor does not run????????? That's for a later post.
'Be sure to turn the ignition switch to ON when doing the grounded wire to the BLUE/WHITE wire at the wiper motor.
Let's say the motor runs when you put the grounded wire to the motors BLUE/WHITE wire. Most likely the wiper switch is toast. Soooooo, what a person could do while he has his switch sent out to ICEMARK to have it repaired....he could stick a wire in the back of the wiper switch at the BLUE/WHITE wire, and ground the other end if it rains. The wiper should work like that. It's a proven way of making the wipers work if one has a toasted wiper switch.. Done.
