windshield wiper gets stuck

Hi.

Lately my front windshield wiper suddenly doesn't work. But I don't think its the rellais, because I can hear it click when I use the switch. It seems that sometimes the wiper-motor has to little power to move the wipers...
Any clue?

Harry

The most common problem is the dinky relay in the wiper switch module.

The relay armature will click over, but the concacts can be burned out.

You can replace the relay if you're handy with PCB repair.

well, my wiper I and II works fine(not much difference in speed) so does the mist. But the uh...what its called the delayed mode doesn't work at all. How would I fix that? It also doesn't park where its suppose to be, it stays in the spot where I turn it off at.

Sounds like a bad relay.

I stock a heavy duty sealed version of the relays at my webstore, with no minimum order amount.

Check under the products section and then select new products.

As a reminder though, you should also re-solder the whole switch, as just replacing the relay(s) only fixes the problem 70% of the time.
