Will a stock turbo bolt up to .....
I am going to install the turbo again on my 6port vert... I came across a SS autochrome manifold for cheap and was wondering if the stock S5 turbo will bolt up to that thing? Anone using a stock turbo on the SS autocrap manifold?
I am going to re-weld the joints on the manifold so it won't leak.... ANY thoughts?

I can't see how an aftermarket manifold for the S5 turbo can be any better than the stock one without relocating the turbo. The size and position of the exhaust ports is fixed, the size and position of the turbine entry ports is fixed, so you're basically connecting the dots, which the stock manifold does as efficiently as can be expected. It also won't need to be rewelded...
On my S5 turbo I port-matched the manifold to the turbo, making the ports a bit wider to (hopefully) improve flow. You won't be able to do that with a tubular manifold. Just a thought.

he posted this in regards to fitment issues between the n/a LIM and the turbo as is always an issue when turboing an n/a.
SSAC only makes S4 turbo manifolds and T4 type manifolds for aftermarket turbos, as far as i know the S5 turbo is not a T4 flange so it won't bolt up to either an S4 stock or aftermarket manifold nor will it bolt to any T4 flanged manifold so your only real option is to use spacers, modify the LIM or go with a S4 turbo.
