Will someone tell me what this means?

I have an 87 Turbo, and to start it, I have to unplug the fuel pump in the hatch, crank until it gets compression, and have someone plug it in before it will start...now, I only done this once...today I tried to unsuccessfully install a fuel cut switch and that didnt work...I hooked the wire back up right, I think, and now it doesnt do like it did....What was my problem in the beginning? im positive now it is my wiring as to why it doesnt do like it did before.....But why do I have to unplug and wait for it to get compression, then plug back in?? thanks

Did you check the underdash fuses?

The reason most new engines have a tendency to flood are because of low compression (things still seating).

Sorry I couldnt help you with your switch further, I had to go to work.

I assume your TII is flooding like a bitch. Mine does too. How long has this been a problem? On my car, I can hold the pedal to the floor and it will start no problem. BUT, if I dont hold the pedal down it will flood every time. I know, I know, probably leaking fuel injectors.

Try starting it with the gas pedal to the floor.
