will S5 turbo tranny work on S4 turbo motor?

will S5 turbo tranny work on S4 turbo motor?

Yes I tried searching all 7 pages but didnt see anything on the subject

Sup man. Simple answer is no. Different Counterweights. Thats the main difference from what I read

as far as i am aware of all the TII trannys are the same. I beleve you can use any TII tranny with any turbo motor.

They are all the same. And why the hell would the counter wieght have anything to do with a tranny? Yes a S5 TII trans will bolt just fine with no modifications to a S4 TII motor.

Yes a s4 and s5 tranny are interchangeable. The s4 and s5 flywheels are not due to the flywheels counter weight must match up with the weight of the rotors inside the motor. Thus an s4 motor needs an s4 counterweight and a s5 motor needs an s5 counterweight.

Yes, all rotary transmission should be swappable.

Most mechanics don't associate the flywheel / counterweight with the transmission, as the flywheel / counterweight ends up with the engine when everything comes apart.
