will a s5 lower intake manifold fit a s4 keg?

like the title says im curious... and i searched but i didnt find anything....the search word limitations make certain phrases a pain to work with....

anyway

i got a s5 jspec upper and lower intake manifold, and a series 4 (us spec) keg.....
i noticed that there is a slight difference in the manifold to engine gasket, between the two series.....

has anyone else run into this (surely), and which gasket did you use, or how did you solve the problem?

thanks

You could try porting the manifold to match the s4 gasket, this would involve someone welding in some aluminum to make the edges equal, i have a buddy that may be able to do this for you, just let me know if you want me to talk to him, and i will. Ill need the s4 gasket and the s5 manifold, to take to show him, He can do all of it and port it out some for you for pretty cheap.

No, the S4 manifold will not fit the S5 Keg....

Now that I have said that, I am actually running an S4 manifold on an S5 keg. But there is a mod that needs to be done.

If you put the S4 manifold on, there will be a gap under the center lower part of the manifold. If you plug that gap (I used JB weld) then your good to go.
