I am pretty sure you can use it, however only if you don't run emissions. The Emissions stuff is not aligned between S5 and S4.

it sort of fits.... your have to do some drilling & clearancing... one stud on the S4 LIM doesn't line up. You have to drill out the hole and clearance the S5 mid for them to go together. It a pain to put the upper on because of the nut clearance on the S4 LIM stud. Its the one closest to the firewall.

Can you swap parts between the manifolds? If your actuator arms are frozen? I have an S5 LIM thats locked up... I just used my S4... a few mods & a big hassle but it will work if you swap the whole thing. Maybe you can make the S5 work with the S4 port rod things?

Want the N/A LIM? I have an extra I wouldn't mind parting with for cheap.. Not sure of the condition but I have the N/A S5 LIM and gaskets.. Let me know if you want them.

no they stay closed below 4/5k and open after 4/5k..so if u remove them or wire them open then u lose like 10 to 15hp on the bottom end but its the same on the top end

Pulling the sleeves out adds maybe 2-3 hp at the top end. Not much but you might as well.

Yes, I am pretty sure it does. Again, its not much, but it does.
Either way the OP's system is busted so why leave them in? Taken out is better then wired open.

(Of course fixing the system is the better option...but thats not what I am saying)

well after i thought about it it would have more air flow so there is probably a slight increase but i would never take them out because you would loose so much low end it is very noticable.......so a 2-3 hp gain in top end over a 10 or something hp loss in low end just doesnt make sence to me.

i see it this way though yes u are losing lets say with the 5ht and 6th ports open and the vdi opened maybey around 15hp??? all of this below 4/5k

now if im driving around below 4k and just in the town or poking around somewhere why do i care if i have 100hp or 600hp....when i autox or lets say even drag race if u are driving correctly your revs should never drop below 4/5k anyways because u should be redlining it on every gear
