will an s4 gauge pack work in S5?

My Odometer stopped working (speedo still works), I can get an S4 gauge pack that is within a few hundred miles of what my s5 pack shows.

Anyone know if it will work?

it may and it may not.

i know for a fact that the ECM in s4's are pinned slightly different from s5's.

going on that info, probability is low that it will work.

if it does than let us know!!!

good luck

are you sure about that? The gauge cluster will work if memory serves me correctly, but you have to repin wires.

I bought a S4 cluster and put the speedo in my S5 NA for the same reason....inop odometer. Works perfect. The cause of my inop odometer was due to trans oil coming up the speedo cable (from a bad seal). The oil softened the plastic gears in the odometer enough to cause them not to mesh, but the speedo still worked, so make sure yours isn't sending oil up the cable to your unit. If you just want to use the speedo from an S4 you should be fine. If you want to use the whole cluster, you will need to re-assign the pins as was stated.
