will this msd work for my car?
My friend has a msd 6AL, he had it on his camaro. He said all I needed was an adapter for it to work on my 91 na. Could this work?

Most rotaries I've seen with CDI boxes really respond well.  It's about as equivalent as slapping on a lightened flywheel in my book...

The significant gains are increased spark plug life (our spark plugs aren't cheap!), slight power gain, and slight mileage gain.
All the cars I've seen MSD's on responded very well.  In fact, I can tell the difference between a FC with or without a CDI box.  The non-CDI vehicle revs just a tad slower...

No change in my idle, nor the throttle response of my engine. Of course, that just might mean that my car was running properly before the CDI box install.

Dyno runs would definitely show a slight power increase.  Of course, 1-3 hp increase is not what most people would feel anyways.  I'm one of those weird people who can tell if the TPS is misadjusted by listening to the engine rev.
Turbos get better gains, as the boost does havoc to the stock ignition.  Add richer mixtures make it even worse to light off.  Most turbos see a larger gain in power, especially at the top end where the engines tend to have ignition break-up.

Well, I'm not sure if I want to get into the subject of your sensitive ***, but as it stands I feel that for most people, 1-3HP is a slight gain. They probably won't feel it. Since this person has the box, I say "go for it". But I would never recommend someone buy an ignition box until they are already pretty highly modded...
As for the turbo ignition, I will have to remember that. This person, however, has a '91 NA.
