will I still have a chance? HELP!!!!
hi, guys, I dropped in a fresh rebuild engine into s5 n/a. the engine started, but seems there is a vacuum leak somewhere. so, I took out the upper intake, and chamber to check if any thing no connected. when I was trying to take out the intake, I accidently knocked the injectors fitting(the plastic piece into the intake, I not sure. but I dont' see it anywhere in the engine bay.)
what should I do now? do I need to dissamble the engine, go through the process again? I hope not!!!
can I just crank it a few time, and hope that will come out from exhaust?
I don't know what to do. help!!!!!!!

You can try a shop-vac or one of those flexible picker-uppers that have a flexible jaw at the end which retracts to pick stuff up, using a handle at the opposite end.
If it's one of those plastic injector air bleeds, you could try *gently* turning the engine with a wrench until it binds on the air bleed, just to verify that it is in there.
Trust me, you can't just turn it all the way over and have it come out the exhaust. There is not enough room inside the engine for a large object to not get in the way of the parts during a full revolution of the engine.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T TRY TO START IT UNTIL YOU CAN TURN IT OVER BY HAND. (dont' make the same mistake I did a year ago when I dropped a screw in my engine and failed to stop trying to turn it over when it binded).
