will i run lean?
will i run lean?
i have a 86 GXL NA, it has 70,000 miles on the whole car, and i am wondering if i get the rb duel header, run straight pipes to mufflers, and then get air intake.. will i run to lean?
if so.. what do i have to do to fix it?
thanks alot

I'd strongly suggest a presilencer on the exhaust... they're really loud without it.
You'll be fine. The FCs use an airflow sensor (the flapper door below the air filter). If the engine pulls in more air, the ECU provides more fuel. As long as you're not doing insane flow mods (and I don't consider what you're planning to do terribly extreme), you'll be fine.
Plus, the NAs don't really have as much of an issue detonating as the turbos do. They're a lot more tolerant of lean running, to the point that you can "butt-dyno" tune a NA without really worrying about blowing the engine up. If anything, leaning out slightly at high RPMs will *add* power - they run stupid-rich up there, and leaning it out with a SAFC produces some decent power gains.
