Pedal help

Where in gods name does the harness at the top of the pedal arms go on a S5 T2... i know one is the brake-light switch, but the one at the top of the gas pedal i have no idea. Is there a sub-harness from the brake switch to the rest of the main harness?

Is it different to the S4 ?
i was checking out a buddies S4 T2 vert and it has No harness at the top of the pedal. And another buddy has an S5 n/a - T2 conversion and has no switch at the top of the gas pedal, but says the harness coming from the brake light switch goes to the ignition?

thanks

S5 has a sensor on the gas pedal. Its on at half throttle, off below. On an n/a, its used so your aux ports don't open on below half throttle. I'd imagine it does somethign spiffy on the tii too. (timing or something).

There shouldn't be many like-shaped harnesses down there that fit it... its just a matter of finding it.

yeah, there are 4 male spades on the top of the pedal at a switch sensor.. but i can't tell if its just an unusual plug, or 2 different plugs.
(this is for a S4 n/a)
What i would like to know, is, what does the plug look like on an S5 T2
do i have to change it over to s5?

maybe people that have done auto-manual swaps might know this?
thanks.

oh, my bad, you're putting s5 pedals in an s4? The FSM should have a picture and pinout on the harness, you'll have to get a copy of both series diagrams though. S4 to find the original harness pinout, s5 to find the new one. They may be the same.
