Will a 3" TID with HKS Intake boost creep my engine?

I have a 1990 Mazda Rx-7 Turbo. I have a walboro fuel pump, koyo radiator, hks bov. Everything else is stock including exhaust. I dont have the stock TID. So if I do a custom 3" or 2.5" TID on my stock turbo will I boost creep?

The s5 turbo has boost bleed so once you max it out at like 15psi it will automatically bleed down to 7psi no matter what.

I would get a FCD before you do anything to the exhaust or TID, as it will automatically up the boost some... And unless you start turning the boost up, there's really no need to port the wastegate yet...

but my question is "will it boost creep?" and do you know for a fact? I dont have the stock TID and finding it is almost impossible in good shape. Let me know. Thanks in advance.

You sure you're talking about boost creep?
http://fc3spro.com/TECH/FAQ/bcreep.html

The TID will raise boost, but the double WG should keep it from creeping...

im not experiencing boost creep yet, because my engine is not swapped in yet. im still missing small stuff like throttle cable and boost sensor. anywayz, i wanted to know if a 2.5" TID will boost creep, so I can find a stock TID before I begin the swap. If it does not boost creep, then I will just use my 2.5" TID I got already. Its a stock turbo. I dont want to boost anymore than the stock 8psi without fuel controller. so REted, you are saying the wastegate should keep it at 8psi even after the 2.5" TID? I have stock exhaust.

i dont think u know what your talking about..... it does have a waste gate... however its not large enuf and cant effectivly bleed off enuf to keep pressure down when ehxaust and intake are "opened up"

id say with just TID on a s5 waste gate( much larger than s4!) your probably not gonna get any creep...

if and when u do full xhaut thats another story however!

stock boost is about 6 psi by the way.... it shouldnt go any higher then that maybe a tiny bit. <1 psi

there's a 1st gen section. Try asking around there. Or if you mean personal help, ask around in the regional forum.

I'd say it's get pretty close to the fuel-cut limit, but I think you should be safe.
I'd say the TID is good for another 1psi of boost.
The stock exhaust should prevent it from going any higher.
