will 14" wheels clear turbo brakes

I doubt the stock 14" (if they were 5 lug) would clear the turbo brakes on an FC because of the offset

but will a 14" wheel clear the turbo brakes diameter wise? I can always hunt down or get spacers for the right offset.

I know they will clear the rear but I'm worried about the front.

I have 14" gravel tires that i don't want to give up because of me going 5 lug.

A couple people run Turbo brakes on the 4 lug setup, try to find one of their threads. I believe aaroncake has a writeup about it but I have no clue what wheels he used.

no I'm likely going to swap over to 5 lug and turbo brakes this summer.

but I want to still be able to use my 14" rally tires, I know I will need new wheels because of the pattern but if 14"s is too small I will have to sell them and find another set (which I don't want to do )

I understand that, but if you research their threads you might gain some insight as to whether or not they kept 14" rims or had to step up to 15" rims.

I'm pretty sure they won't fit diameter wise, but I could be wrong. I would try to find someone with a 5 lug setup and test fit to see first.

15" rally tires should be easy to find since you should be running about the same size as subarus. but you won't be able to use the same wheel as them unless you get STi wheels from someone who has done a brake conversion which is doubtful...

14 would be pushing it.

I did my front 5 lug swap so far and I have 16s and it looks like 15 might be the limit...

14's will NOT fit over the T2/gxl/vert 4pot brake calipers. The inside of the rim phsyically will contact the caliper and prevent movement. 15's clear no problem as all stock fc's with 5 bolt pattern (aside from the T2 and infiniIII) came with a 15" rim.
