Wierd Tach behavior
Anyone ever experience problems with their Tach only working when giving the engine gas (i.e. only while accelerating or revving)
I have spliced into the tach wire for signal for a shiftlight, I'm going to remove that temporarily to see if that fixes it, but just in case something else is going on, I figured I'd ask.

Haven't had the problem but I would guess either that the trailing coil is having voltage issues (are you getting a lot of carbon out of the exhaust?)
Or
bad connection at the back of the cluster

1. Make sure that one of the battery cables are not rubbing against the power steering pump pulley or a/c.
2. Have you changed the gauges or placed white sticker gauges over them? Sometimes the needles get stuck on the white gauge holes because some are too small.
3.Check the coil cable.
