Wieght reduction

I'm doing a manula swap into my '89 GXL. I dropping a TII trans and a light flywheel and replacing the steel hood with the TII hood. I know these parts are alot lighter than the ones on right now but how much wieght would I be looking at shedding.

TII transmission is heavier than a N/a 5spd. TII hood(aluminum one) is around 30 pounds lighter than the steel hoods. I'td say sell both those items and the flywheel and put it into actual power mods. You will notice that much more.

I forgot to mention its lighter than a automatic thats in the car right now. Also its better to start with a solid drivetrain before you start doing power mods.
