Really Quick TPS question
I am driving down to RI today which is about a 5 hour drive and I really cant deal with this TPS hesitation in my TII. I was told to "unplug the tps" Where exactly is the TPS plug?

Dont unplug it, set it. If you unplug it, youll get terrible gas mileage, and i think im rigth about this, but extended use with it unplugged can hurt the ecu. Just drive for a little bit to get your car warm, then go home and get a volt meter, or ohmmeter. After that, pop the hood, and behind the coolant filelr neck you'll see 1 set of plugs that should be apparent (on my car, the upper is black, and the lower is white). Unplug the top one that goes to what looks like a little black bocks on the throttle body. take the top one, hold the positive lead to the connector that has a green wire with a red stripe going to it, and hold the negative lead to the connector with a black wire going to it. You should get a reading of 1kohms or 1 volt if it is set correctly. If its not, turn the flathead screw to the right of the little black bocks until its set. The screw may have a plastic thing on top if it has not been played with before, if its still there take it off. After that, just turn the screw, then measure with your voltmeter, or ohmmeter. Once you get it set to 1kOhms or 1 volt, you're almost done. Go take the car out for a little drive, then come back and measure resistance, if it is still 1kohms or 1 volt, you're done, if it is not, then set it again and reapeat this driving/setting step.
If taht does not fix your problem, please explain it better.
