Not trying to sound mean or anything, but use the search function. This question has been asked hundreds of time (per month!!) and you will find DOZENS of threads with every possible weight reduction option listed. Be sure to narrow it down by searching only in the 2nd Gen forum.

and then the passenger seat, the sunvisors, dashboard, Heat, replace glass with plexi glass or some other form of glass, CF hood, fenders, find metal that does nothign and cut it off, take out the gastank and get a small 5gall fuel cell, then diet yourself, choose your clothes by weight... i could go on but im hungry

really depends on what you can live without

Damn crackheads...he said COMMON things . I don't think the sunvisors, passenger seat, and dashboard count on that list. You must be a level above common for that my friend...you must be hardcore. Damn, that name just makes me laugh...and they the little crackhead you have dancing is just all the better!

Its Grrr.. from Invader Zim.. one of the few cartoons ill watch, if you ever have a chance to watch it you should, great for a laugh

i though of a few more things that could help, but may not be to cheap

if you can deal with single exhaust, upgrade your exhaust and go with a single, 1 is ligher than 2
dig around your engine bay, what is heavy in there than you can

a. build a ligher version of
or b. remove completely

the best way IMHO would be to learn about you car, know what you plan to do and not to do with it (street car? street and track? track only?), and then you can decide what you can and cannot/shouldnot remove

if you got a sunroof you can remove all the electrics and motors regarding that.. pretty much everything else has been mentioned.

With weight reduction, its really little things that add up. If you just get a small battery, itll save like 15 lbs, but that in combination with no sunroof mechnics, removed spare, jack, no carpet in hatch, no PS, no A/C, etc etc and you got well over 100lbs saved
