Very interesting kit. No one can fault your car for it's power and looks. Personally, I'm more of the stock look but with awesome power and handling.

Good job.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your thoughts. About a year of on again/off again work, but the car was dailed mechanically @ about 300rwhp, and dead reliable. Now with almost doubling the output there is alot more work to do. Figure 20-30K, and 1000 hours ballpark. The nose, and hood are 1 of ~10 each, and the flares are Tripoint. The price above assumes you do at least half the work yourself, and is for a completed car(mine is not done). 13B Drifter, I love a stock bodied FC as well, but I needed enough tire to hook alot of HP on the road course. Eventually I will make it to over 500rwhp, but that is in the future right now, I am showing a body combo that no one has done yet. The RE Super G is the closest I have seen, and that is a shop car. I built, and painted this in my home garage with only the knowledge acquired on the forums as a guide. I wish I could have made SS7, I would have liked the Japanese press to se this car, I guess it's better they see it when it is finished in, and out... Carl

dude, I think I filled the cup.

Looks sweet. With that body kit, the wing looks killer, even though I am not a fan of big @$$ wings on street cars. But, then again, that ain't no street car. Nice to see the completed product. The teasers you posted were looking sweet, but this looks tons better then what I thought you would end up.

Post some pics of the car with your "tire girl"

Carl,

I've seen this car come along way and i would just like to say that you've done an excellent job thus far.

We all know it's not easy to rebuild 12-15 year old sport car and turn it into a 400 HP race/street machine. This is especially true when talking rotary's.

Again she looks good. keep up the great work and i'll be looking forward to seeing more updates in the future.

Try welcome to like 2 years ago, but I am pretty sure if you e-mail Chuck he will still run one off for you he said lead time is a week but I am sure it is longer. You will need wide fenders for it to fit there is no way around that see this post.

Mmmm, close but not quite. As carl said, Atilla made this hood, not Chuck. I'm sure you can still get them.

Car looks good Carl. Dave and I were looking for you down there. I didn't get mine finished, just threw it on a trailer and hauled it out there as it was. I still need to finish up a few details. Maybe next time I'll catch up with you, or if you're in Az sometime.

Sounds good Chris, I was very disappointed(not to make SS7), but too tired to make the trip... To answer some questions about the hood, nose, and flares; None of these parts are as delivered. We (Alan Sensier and I) spent hours to soften the stock lines on the car, and the tripoint fenders, while spending an equal amount of time producing a more angular rendition of the FD pieces to come up with what we feel is a cohesive design that does not look like somebody tacked a bunch of chopped up FD parts onto an FC. The car is in its first exterior design phase, count on many subtle refinements to make the cars exterior flow more smoothly, and to always be one of a kind... As for the mechanical end of things, Chris, your car is very close to my power, and refinement goal, JOB WELL DONE

NICE JOB Carl! I should be getting my car out of Corksport this week, hopefully. Then getting her painted, royal saphire blue j/k . Once I have my RE motor broken in, we'll be tuning and should be @ 500+ rwhp EASY @ only 19-20 psi ...Jim. I'll keep you updated.

Car looks great, and there is something to be said for the "utility" look of the wheels. Something about the function over form, I kinda like. Regardless, I like it, I'll likely be going to a widebody kit on my car once I get the suspenion sorted out/V8 tuned.

Keep up the great work, I've also been following this since early on, glad to see it come to fruition.

:: Drools :: One word, wow...
I've fallen in love with that front end. The body, flawless. The wing, awesome. The wheels, great. The hood, sweet. The power, godly. Me, speechless. ::as a tear rolls down cheek::

Mad respect, much props, and a job well done.

Rabbit

P.S. The color is perfect.

That is a really really sweet kit.

but the spoiler is like a huge gay bonus to your car, thats one of the hugest PARK BENCHES I have ever seen! **** you might as well just put an actuall park bench on your car, as it will have the same performance effect.. extra weight in the rear...

the only good spoiler is a functional spoiler! TAKE THAT **** OFF!

im done.

Some of these nublets don't understand that this is a track race car, not a blinged-out, all show street machine that's going to be parked at the 7-11 while Carl is drinking a Slurpie...

Agreed.

It's a TRACK CAR. Not a blinged out STREET RICER CAR. He did everything here for one goal: performance. That is the FC that our FCs dream about when parked in the garage.

I like how some people try to be extremely anti-rice like "Oh get rid of that wing...it's so ricey" when they don't realize that it is functional when he's going to be doing 140+mph down a straightaway diving into the inside of the Camaro beside him, out-braking him into the corner, and passes him and accelerates away...while you and me will be at home...drinking slurpies...

absolute Jealousy...Good job Carl!
